The Washington Commanders traded for New Orleans cornerback Marshon Lattimore ahead of Tuesday's NFL trade deadline. The compensation involved Washington sending three picks to New Orleans while receiving Lattimore and a draft pick back.

The eight-year veteran brings a Pro Bowl presence to a Washington team that had cornerback at the top of its needs list.

Oddsmakers are all but ruling out a collapse from the Commanders, pegging their win total at 11.5 and their playoff odds at -950. They aren’t being overlooked as a Super Bowl contender, either.
