Independent voters will be a crucial voting bloc this election, with Vice President Kamala Harris leading nationally among them. However, in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, former President Donald Trump is ahead among independents and is outperforming his 2020 numbers.

Last week, law enforcement and election officials in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, said they had identified “incidents of suspected voter registration fraud.” The officials said “approximately 2,500 voter registration forms have been contained and segregated” to be reviewed and investigated but did not say how many of those have been found to be fraudulent.
